Persona

I’d just slapped. Not literally, hahaha.

Yesterday was a sunny afternoon – after raining for several days – when I met my high-school best friend. It was a simple conversation, very simple but for me, it makes me think more. About me and this blog, my writings.
“You have changed or just growing up? I don’t know.
I thought, there’s something different about your posts (on blog). I just thought that there’s something you hide between your words. Do you make some boundaries?
What I know is that I was bored with your last writings."
Definitely, she said something which I’d questioned to my self recently. She found it. She showed me the wrong part.
Though what she said isn’t 100% true.

between responsible and consequences.

source: somewhere but forgot the link.
Some people say that life is like riding a roller coaster: you could be on the highest, but you could be on the lowest place all of a sudden.
But for me, life isn’t just about riding (a roller coaster).
I think, life is about how we lead the ride.

beberapa hari sebelum pergantian tahun.

Hai, selamat malam minggu semua.

Lucu sekali, inspirasi menulis saya selalu datang disaat tugas sedang banyak-banyaknya.
Ehm, sebenarnya hanya satu sih, UAS take home dengan tugas merangkai 3000 kata tentang satu topik bahasan.

Lho, bukannya kamu suka nulis, Nis?

Iya, saya suka nulis.

a brand new day, bienvenue.

Photo taken by Nisrina.

I dunno why I’m feeling so blue today.

This should be a special day, right?

But why, by the time I’m writing this post I’m still feeling unwell. I’ve tried to ask myself about it.  I just found…nothing.
I’m trying to figure it out the reason of the clouds in my mind.

Oh, Nisrina,
How could you being sad all day long, even when everyone congratulating you for your best day?

your favorite quotes.

“The past could affect the future.”

And that words make me think more about it.

Actually, I often think about random moments which had happened; which I’d been through, or you may called it: the past.

Well, I sometimes enjoy to recall the past because… it was quite interesting.

The moment when you created your facebook account for the first time, when you had a ‘galau moment’ in your teenager phase, when you fell in love then finally had a relationship with him/her that you like, when for the first time you got a heartbreak….

about moving on.

Those who say moving on is easy are the one that never feel broken hearted.

This post was inspired by Adel’s post on her blog, here. Emmm.. I, myself, actually had planned to write this kind of post. But then, I was too lazy to write. Also, everytime I have a time to write, I postponed it until I forgot to write this post. Hahaha.
Like what I write on the first paragraph: Those who say moving on is easy are the one that never feel broken hearted.

book review: Newt Project.

Newt Project's Old Cover

self talk.

It’s almost november.
Hmm.
What I’ve been through so far?
Is that really busy as you said on your last post, Nisrina? Or it’s just your dramatical life that makes it feel so hard to be through,Nis?
What you’ve got so far?
Are those things really worth-to-do? Are those things make you getting closer to what you want in your future,Nis?
Yeah.
I’m asking myself.
*Well, If you wanna answer it , just answer, for yourself not for me.

Where everything seems harder as it looks. When everything you’ve done seems not right, even for yourself. When you could be stressful yet happy at the same time. When you try to do your best, even when you realize at the end you didn’t do your best. When you feel so confused about which one you should choose. That is life.
This is life.
And this is yours, Nis.
*
How my current life seems like….

I know where and how to start, but then I forget my own tract and couldn’t find the finish line. I got lost. Somebody please help me to find the finish line.
*

But for the hard times, coming back to you is the sweetest escape I’ve ever had, Blog.

Dear dad,
I know how you don’t like birthday-thing much.

To read your birthday wishes on facebook several days ago makes me realize how you love me so much, and I know that you’ve been prayed for me everyday. Even though you just sending me a really short SMS, I know that your wishes are too much to written down via SMS.

it's been a year.

Mostly-heard-sentences, these days…
“Oh, how time flies so fast.”
“Oh, how It’s been a year.”
“A year ago I was busy doing this, this, and that.”
“Oh, how I hate to grow up.”
Emm…the last sentence is exactly what’s on my mind.
I hate growing up. I hate becoming older and older. I hate when everything seems different than before; everything’s change.
On 2012,
I was a new-college-student. I was really afraid of living far away from my parents, I was also afraid of meeting new people.
That was a year ago. When my journey to the real life had just started.
You must have ever heard kind of old wisdom: "Nothing lasts forever."
I do agree.
Yes I really do.
But people are people.
Basically, people tend to choose everything that makes them more comfortable. Change isn’t a good friend for comfort.
Then here’s something we have to notice: change isn’t a good friend of comfort—at the first time.
When we try to see it clearly, change is a natural thing. It happens anytime until we couldn’t realize.
So let's be friend with changes. So when it comes your turn, you could prepare and greet them well :)

This would be my another a hectic week.
Wish me luck!

already midnight.

Once upon a night..
When your lips couldn’t say a word
When your eyes couldn’t tell anything
When your face couldn’t show what you feel
When your fingers couldn’t type a word
Even,
When your mind couldn’t get what you thought,
That means,
You need someone
to hug
and to say: “everything will be okay.”

an old friend of mine.

*edited*
I met my old friend several days ago and have a short coversation with him. Then suddenly he said something I never thought before, and that's really surprised me...
“... you are the type of person who would not work so hard for something you thought unimportant. I know, that’s you, Nis..."
But then…should I leave everything when it has been already in the middle of the work?
Btw, that day was a not a sweet one, but a fun yet interesting talk with you. It is always fun to know what’s on your mind. Your thoughts, your words,  are always innocent, honest, and straightforward.
Yeah, thank you, N.

Thank you for making me knows my self better.

"Sometimes people get to know you better than yourself. Sometimes you need a person who could show something you hide."

xoxo,

*I've removed some words on this post,
just...it would be better if I don't write something too personal here :)

book review: Kamu Indonesia Banget Kalau...

picture taken from avantourists.com

I do really feel so curious about its content.

Then, I decided to buy it….
… actually my dad paid the book for me. hahaha.

As I guess, this book is totally interesting!

Sangat menarik dan cukup blak-blakan, menurut saya. Berit Renser, the author of this book, bercerita

On the first part, Berit Renser menceritakan bagaimana dia bisa ‘terdampar’ di sebuah negara yang bernama Indonesia. Sebuah negara, yang bahkan ia sendiri belum tahu banyak mengenai Indonesia, anyway she comes from Estonia.

But then, back again, this is just a book, a thought, an opinion, about Indonesia and Indonesian people.

Then, here my favorite sentences:

 “Kamu Indonesia Banget Kalau…

But it’s really worth-to-read!

Sometimes, we need a ‘mirror’ to remind us about who we are, what we are, how we look like. Then we could use it to make things better – to keep what’s worth to keep or to leave the bad ones.
- Nisrina Putri

Kita semua hanya berbeda…”

Anyhow, I do really thanked Berit Renser for writing this awesome yet interesting book.

Terima kasih! :D

Tertarik untuk membacanya?
Go find it on your favorite bookstore! :p
